Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Saulo Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Estacio da Fonseca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). da Fonseca comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Chokechain" - 3oh!3 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Estacio da Fonseca is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

da Fonseca gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ribeiro is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. da Fonseca can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

da Fonseca uses his free foot to push down on Ribeiro's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ribeiro.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Ribeiro looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by da Fonseca! Submission of the night perhaps?
