PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Babcock (ranked 1279 p4p, 1859 weight class) and Cestmir Cejka (ranked 169 p4p, 245 weight class). Babcock comes to the cage accompanied by San Francisco Live Medley. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cestmir Cejka!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cejka tries to bum rush Babcock with a series of wild strikes but Babcock uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

I was talking to Babcock's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Jim Babcock will probably get the nod.
