Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolf Spicer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rolf Spicer!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spicer doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.
Johnson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Spicer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

It looks like Mike Johnson has been cut.

Spicer has Johnson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Johnson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Spicer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Johnson sprawls well initially but Spicer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Spicer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Johnson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Spicer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johnson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johnson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Spicer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Spicer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Spicer feints and as Johnson raises his hands in defense, Spicer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Spicer stands and steps away. Johnson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Let's hope that Spicer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Rolf Spicer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Spicer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
