Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Kirkovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alvaro De Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirkovich comes to the cage accompanied by Crazy Autotune. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Silva tries to clinch up but Kirkovich circles away and keeps his distance.
Kirkovich avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
De Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Kirkovich sprawls well. He's pushed De Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Alvaro De Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kirkovich has hold of De Silva's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and De Silva manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kirkovich's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Vladimir Kirkovich just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
De Silva keeps the fight on the outside.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

De Silva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
De Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kirkovich swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kirkovich is pulling down on De Silva's head. It's preventing any offense from De Silva, at least for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
