The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeshi checks a low kick from Kilbane.
Takeshi tries to clinch there but Kilbane circles away.
Kevin Kilbane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kilbane buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Takeshi is breathing heavily.
Kilbane cracks Takeshi with a big right hand and Takeshi goes down!

Kilbane slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Kilbane lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Takeshi! Kilbane senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Takeshi out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
