Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sweet Tea Bloominshine!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloominshine lands a glancing blow to the side of McCewen's head.
McCewen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bloominshine has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bloominshine throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting McCewen counter with a right hand.
Bloominshine displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Bloominshine bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McCewen throws a looping overhand right but Bloominshine ducks down to avoid it.
Bloominshine looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McCewen needs to keep his hands up - Bloominshine had a free shot at his head there.
Bloominshine cracks McCewen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've been told by McCewen's head coaches at Dangerous Fight Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bloominshine on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McCewen. McCewen obviously looking to wear him down.
McCewen throws a big shot that misses.
Bloominshine swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Bloominshine lands with a straight right. McCewen didn't see that one coming.

McCewen has taken the fight to the clinch.
McCewen lands a good knee to the midsection. Bloominshine won't want to take too many of those.
McCewen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
McCewen throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bloominshines head.
McCewen swings wildly with an uppercut but Bloominshine uses good head movement to avoid it.
McCewen goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

McCewen unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bloominshine lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. McCewen obliges.
Bloominshine looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

After winning the bout, Callum McCewen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
