Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nils Norling (ranked 967 p4p, 1083 weight class) and Grey Ape (ranked 128 p4p, 143 weight class). Norling's entrance music is Eminem - Go To Sleep. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nils Norling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Grey Ape!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Norling missing with a left hand there. Ape was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ape throws out a counter right but Norling avoids it with no problem.
Ape has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Norling jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ape throws a shot to the body.
Ape throws out a powerful jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Norling thows a left - swing and a miss!
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Ape moves into the clinch successfully.

Norling fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Norling takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Nils Norling has been cut.
Norling scores with a shoulder strike.
Ape tries a knee to the head but Norling blocks it.
Ape escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A low kick from Ape misses
and Norling counters with a two punch combo.
Ape lands a high kick!
Norling loads up on a big right hand but Ape slips the punch.
Ape looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Norling throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ape unleashes a big counter combination but Norling bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ape throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ape takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Norling throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ape cracks Norling with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A head kick by Ape misses
and Norling counters with a stiff right hand.
Ape throws a head kick that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ape throws a poor cross that misses
and Norling counters with a nice right hand that sends Ape toppling to the canvas! Ape scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Norling finish him?!
Ape is rocked!
It looks like Grey Ape has been cut.
Norling darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Ape's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Norling before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nils Norling!
In his post fight interview, Nils Norling started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
