Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Kersikov (ranked 2 p4p, 41 weight class) and Billy Blank (ranked 2 p4p, 6 weight class). Kersikov's entrance music is Head of the Table. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Blank swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Blank avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kersikov throws a low kick but Blank avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blank on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kersikov. Kersikov obviously looking to wear him down.

Blank sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Kersikov is looking to slow Blank down with leg kicks.
Kersikov throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Kersikov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blank. That did some damage!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kersikov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Blank. Blank circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Billy Blank has been cut.
That kick from Kersikov tenderised Blank's leg. Blank is trying to keep his angry face on.

It looked like Kersikov was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Blank.

Kersikov lands a big uppercut and Blank crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Blank looks OK. Kersikov waves Blank back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kersikov drops Blank with a beautiful combination! Blank stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kersikov is looking for the KO!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blank walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Kersikov! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
