With a record of 21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abdul Keji!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akinaga misses with a wild combination.

and Keji counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Keji throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Akinaga.
Keji bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A jab lands there for Akinaga.

Akinaga loads up on a big right hand but Keji slips the punch.
Keji moves out of range as Akinaga strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Keji swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Keji throws a lazy right hand but Akinaga sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Akinaga lands with a hook. Keji tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

enabling Keji to counter with a crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Keji counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Akinaga cracks Keji with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Keji throws an overhand right that lands on Akinaga's shoulder, as Akinaga tries to avoid the shot.
Sloppy strikes from Keji. Those never looked like landing.
Akinaga moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Akinaga throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Kiso Akinaga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Keji counters with a straight right hand.
Akinaga uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Keji has time to react.
Akinaga scores with a jab. Keji acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Akinaga scores with a punch to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Keji throws out a loose jab but Akinaga uses good head movement to avoid it.
No joy there for Akinaga, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Keji appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Keji uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Akinaga.
Akinaga throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Akinaga jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Keji feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Akinaga sprawling to the canvas! Akinaga rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Keji finish him?!

Akinaga is rocked!

It looks like Kiso Akinaga has been cut.
Keji is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Akinaga bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Akinaga will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Keji looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Akinaga misses with a two punch combination.
Keji waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Akinaga.
Akinaga shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Keji eats them both and turns towards Akinaga to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

and Keji counters with a right hand from hell and Akinaga is out cold! A vicious knockout!
