Six Nine kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is KIKA - Tekashi 6ix9ine. Tekashi Six Nine could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jamie Hull's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tekashi Six Nine !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamie Hull!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hull is looking to clinch but Six Nine is avoiding it.
Six Nine throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Six Nine misses with a looping left.
Hull throws out a counter right but Six Nine avoids it with no problem.
Hull takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Hull rushes Six Nine and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Six Nine has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Six Nine lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Six Nine throws a head punch that misses.
Hull jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Six Nine walks away with a smile on his face. Hull gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hull tries to clinch but Six Nine moves out of range.

Hull closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Six Nine tries to throw a body punch but Hull avoids it by throwing Six Nine back against the cage.
Six Nine pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Six Nine comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Hull tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Six Nine just stands there and leans against the cage.
Hull jumps guard but Six Nine turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Tekashi Six Nine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamie Hull.

Hull is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Six Nine is aware though and is defending well.

Hull is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hull had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Six Nine defends it easily.
Six Nine is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hull is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Six Nine is aware though and is defending well.

Six Nine slows the pace down.

Hull tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Six Nine throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Six Nine throws a wild body kick that Hull sees coming a mile off.
Six Nine works Hull's body with a nice hook.
Six Nine throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hull stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Six Nine throws a looping overhand right but Hull ducks down to avoid it.
Six Nine throws a big shot that misses.
Six Nine throws a jab but it's blocked by Hull.
Hull looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

It seemed like Hull was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hull walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tekashi Six Nine dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hull uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Six Nine .
Hull looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Hull tries to close the distance and clinch up but Six Nine swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hull ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hull swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hull on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Hull forces Six Nine back against the cage and clinches.
Hull tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Six Nine tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Hull jumps guard but Six Nine stands there with Hull around his waist. Hull gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hull working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Six Nine doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Six Nine manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Six Nine reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Six Nine taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hull!
