The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Chukwuma moves out of range of the strikes.
It looked like Chukwuma wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Okongwu connects with a solid leg kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Chukwuma. That snapped Okongwu's head back.
It looks like Mauro Okongwu has been cut.
Okongwu tries to clinch up.
Chukwuma appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Chukwuma walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Okongwu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A bone on bone clash there as Okongwu blocks the leg kick.

and Chukwuma makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

and Okongwu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chukwuma misses with an attempted mid kick.
Okongwu throws a counter combo.
Okongwu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chukwuma paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Chukwuma bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Chukwuma looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Okongwu throws a shot from downtown. Chukwuma moves away and avoids it.
Chukwuma is looking to counter with a body kick.

Chukwuma fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Okongwu manages to avoid it.
Okongwu counters with a body kick.
Chukwuma misses with a looping right.
It seemed like Okongwu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Okongwu misses with a combination
letting Chukwuma counter with a right hand.
Chukwuma slips a jab from Okongwu.

and Chukwuma counters with a crisp right hand that drops Okongwu! Chukwuma lets Okongwu back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
That has opened up Mauro Okongwu's cut even more.

Chukwuma throws a jab when Okongwu was well out of range.
Chukwuma misses with a looping left.
Okongwu gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Chukwuma finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Okongwu moves out of range of the body kick from Chukwuma.
Okongwu appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Chukwuma uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Okongwu.
Okongwu throws a big shot that misses.

Chukwuma scores with a spinning back kick!
Okongwu looks winded!
Chukwuma lands a big uppercut and Okongwu crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Okongwu looks OK. Chukwuma waves Okongwu back to his feet!
Okongwu is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Okongwu is still on wobbly legs! Can Chukwuma finish him?
Okongwu misses with a straight right.
Okongwu seems to have recovered his senses.
Chukwuma changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Okongwu bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Chukwuma comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Okongwu falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Okongwu was out before he hit the floor!
