Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Principo Adam (ranked 64 p4p, 119 weight class) and Sonny Giovanni (ranked 9 p4p, 20 weight class). Adam's entrance music is Dona Eis Requiem. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Giovanni leaves Adam with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Adam comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Giovanni keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Giovanni appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Giovanni manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Principo Adam will probably get the nod.
