The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Horrible takedown by Fenomeno or perhaps it was just good defense by Guillard which made him look bad.

Guillard lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Guillard throws a few strikes from the bottom but Fenomeno takes advantage and mounts!
Guillard's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Fenomeno looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Fenomeno has control of Guillard's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Guillard regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Fenomeno is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Guillard has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fenomeno can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Guillard is looking to escape.
