Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rikkard Hanson (ranked 2911 p4p, 2937 weight class) and Benjy Button (ranked 361 p4p, 0 weight class). Benjy Button will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjy Button!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Button has a takedown stuffed.
Hanson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hanson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Despite the aggression on Button's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Hanson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hanson wants it to stay on the feet.
Hanson throws a counter high kick but Button was just alert enough to avoid it.

Button closes the distance and clinches.
Button gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hanson.

Button pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Button closes the distance and pushes Hanson back into the cage.
Hanson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Button is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rikkard Hanson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Button breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice takedown defense from Hanson. No joy for Button on that attempt.
Button lands with a straight right. Hanson didn't see that one coming.
Button shoots in for a takedown but Hanson shows good takedown defense.

Button moves into range and clinches up with Hanson.
Hanson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Button fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rikkard Hanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Button fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hanson, pushing him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Button pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Button tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hanson defends well and Button ends up having to push Hanson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hanson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Button.
Button closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Button changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hanson tries to avoid it but Button manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hanson to the ground. Hanson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Button shoots for a double leg takedown but Hanson sprawls well. He's pushed Button's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Button lands a big head kick that sends Hanson tumbling to the mat! Button takes a step backwards and waves Hanson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Hanson is rocked!

It looks like Rikkard Hanson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Button is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hanson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Oh Hanson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Button.

Button throws a shot to the body.

Button moves into the clinch.

Button breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hanson stuffs the takedown attempt from Button. Button gets slowly back to his feet.
Button dives in and grabs Hanson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hanson pushes down on Button's head and hops out.
Hanson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Button manages to circle out of the way.
Button throws an overhand right that drops Hanson like a sack of potatoes! Button dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
