Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bartholomew Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bantam Rooster!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice looks to throw the jab but Rooster is out of range.
It seemed like Rooster was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rooster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Slice manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Slice looking to score a takedown here. Rooster is defending well but Slice drives through and ends up in Rooster's guard.
Rooster working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slice doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slice manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rooster has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Slice doesn't defend quickly enough and Rooster has managed to lock this one up! Can Slice escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rooster on a fantastic submission victory.
