Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Agbay Amiga (ranked 24383 p4p, 24740 weight class) and Helen Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Agbay Amiga has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 33 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 28 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga stuffs the takedown attempt from Salvacion. Salvacion gets slowly back to his feet.
Amiga was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Amiga gets caught napping as Salvacion dives in and scores a takedown. Amiga manages to retain guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Salvacion is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Salvacion's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Amiga shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Salvacion pinned against the cage. Salvacion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Salvacion throws a big counter head kick but Amiga avoids it with no problem.

Salvacion closes this distance looking for a takedown but Amiga circles away.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Salvacion enables Amiga to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Salvacion manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Amiga is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Amiga stands up and waves to Salvacion to follow him.

Amiga shoots in looking for a takedown. Salvacion tries to sprawl out of it but Amiga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salvacion manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Amiga.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Helen Salvacion will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Salvacion throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

It appears Amiga was looking to counter with a kick there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Amiga wants to stand and escape but instead Salvacion has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Amiga wants to control the position but Salvacion says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Amiga is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Salvacion seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Salvacion shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Amiga counters with a nice kick to the body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Amiga has a takedown stuffed.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Helen Salvacion will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Salvacion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Amiga sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Amiga feinted with a counter takedown.
Amiga shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Salvacion is trying to defend but Amiga finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Amiga in particular looking to stall.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Amiga wants to stand but Salvacion has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Salvacion keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Amiga seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Amiga shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Salvacion napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Salvacion is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Amiga is staying active.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Amiga wants to stand but Salvacion is controlling his arm.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Salvacion is trying to control Amiga's posture but Amiga avoids it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Agbay Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Helen Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Amiga.
