Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lyman Hicks (ranked 1476 p4p, 1262 weight class) and Hajime Nakamura (ranked 128 p4p, 110 weight class). Nakamura has chosen Soldier of Fortune - Loudness as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hajime Nakamura was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lyman Hicks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hajime Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hicks needs to keep his hands up - Nakamura had a free shot at his head there.
A left and a right from Hicks both land. Nice combination.
We've been told by Hicks's head coaches at PhoQus Island Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Hicks tries to bum rush Nakamura with a series of wild strikes but Nakamura uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hicks is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hicks is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
