The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado tries for a takedown but Chekov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Delgado throws a front kick that sends Chekov stumbling back into the cage.
Chekov lands a nice hook to Delgado's body. Delgado takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Gregoric Chekov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chekov moves out of range of the body kick from Delgado.

Delgado drops his hands momentarily and Chekov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Chekov stalks Delgado and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Delgado's face. Delgado staggers backwards, shaken.
