Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mzeke Lingo (ranked 3800 p4p, 5641 weight class) and Max Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lingo comes to the cage accompanied by Rich nigga . Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lingo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gunn fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lingo checks it well.
Lingo shoots in for a takedown but Gunn shows good takedown defense.

Lingo gets a clinch.

Lingo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lingo tries for a takedown but Gunn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gunn lands a jab to the nose.
Gunn leaves Lingo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mzeke Lingo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lingo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Lingo counters with a nice body kick.

Lingo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gunn counters with a three punch combo that has Lingo backing up. Lingo nods at Gunn to acknowledge the strikes.
Max Gunn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gunn throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gunn scores with a hook.

Lingo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Gunn wants to get back to striking at distance but Lingo won't allow it.
Knees to the body from Lingo.
A left hand lands to the body for Lingo.

Lingo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lingo ducks under a wild hook from Gunn.
Gunn throws a hook to the side of Lingo's head but Lingo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lingo avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Lingo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lingo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

The crowd cheers as Gunn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lingo doesn't seem phased though.
Gunn slaps away a takedown attempt from Lingo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Lingo slips under a jab.
Lingo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gunn counters with a straight right hand.

Lingo is rocked!
Lingo is breathing heavily.
Gunn tries a low kick but Lingo avoids it.
Max Gunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunn fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gunn connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Lingo! He's out on his feet! Gunn rushes in and drops Lingo with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
