Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 24695 p4p, 24719 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Minatay Mibangon has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Minatay Mibangon seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Mibangon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The referee asks Mibangon politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mibangon prefers to stall for the moment though.
Mibangon has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Buut is looking to reverse the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mibangon is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Buut's shoulder. That is not cool.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

Buut fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mibangon sprawls well initially but Buut persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mibangon throws a quick counter kick to the body but Buut avoids it.
Buut shoots in but no luck this time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Buut displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mibangon.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It appears Mibangon was looking to counter with a kick there.

Mibangon leaves Buut with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Buut shoots in looking for a takedown but Mibangon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buut's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Buut feints and as Mibangon raises his hands in defense, Buut changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
