Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beaver Shaver (ranked 24696 p4p, 1955 weight class) and Arturito Tampukpuk (ranked 549 p4p, 259 weight class). Arturito Tampukpuk is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaver fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tampukpuk stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Shaver fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tampukpuk sprawls well initially but Shaver persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Tampukpuk pushes Shaver off and gets back to his feet.

Tampukpuk feints a counter leg kick.
A clash of legs there as Tampukpuk blocks the low kick.
Shaver fails to land the takedown.

Shaver steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tampukpuk. That one must have hurt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Beaver Shaver will probably get the nod.
