Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Terence Erenberg (ranked 1993 p4p, 1295 weight class) and Alexander Korolev (ranked 268 p4p, 169 weight class). Korolev comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Human Science Experiment kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terence Erenberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alexander Korolev!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erenberg throws a shot from downtown. Korolev moves away and avoids it.
Erenberg throws a jab when Korolev was well out of range.
Erenberg lands with a hook. Korolev tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Erenberg shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Korolev's guard.

Korolev is looking to stand back up but Erenberg counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Korolev.

Korolev has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Erenberg is on him like a limpet, forcing Korolev back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Erenberg drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Korolev gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Korolev is pressed up against the cage. Erenberg has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Korolev down to the mat. Korolev avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Erenberg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Korolev.
A low kick lands for Korolev.
Erenberg has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

and Korolev counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Korolev is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Erenberg seems to have got his legs back now.
Korolev fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Korolev has Erenberg up against the cage in a clinch.
Korolev lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Erenberg has picked Korolev up - he's going for a ride! Erenberg dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Korolev kicks off Erenberg and gets to his feet.

and Korolev counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Erenberg tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Korolev defends well and Erenberg ends up having to push Korolev into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Korolev working the clinch nicely. Erenberg is working for position but Korolev cracks him with a big knee to the head! Erenberg crumples up against the cage and Korolev lands two more shots before the ref can save Erenberg! This one is all over!
