Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Makoto Toda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 33 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bjorn IronSide!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Chris Dean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toda dives in and grabs IronSide's left leg, looking for a takedown. IronSide pushes down on Toda's head and hops out.
Toda shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says IronSide as he avoids it easily.
Toda shoots in looking for a takedown. IronSide tries to sprawl out of it but Toda keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. IronSide manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Makoto Toda. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Toda gets tackled into the cage by IronSide. IronSide maintains the clinch.

IronSide breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

IronSide throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Toda tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. IronSide is in Toda's guard.

Toda is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and IronSide defends well.

IronSide looking to improve position, pressing down on Toda's thigh with his hand. Toda seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is IronSide paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! IronSide's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Toda picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
