Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Martins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Martins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zack Knight!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins shoots for a takedown but Knight saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Martins tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Knight paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Martins looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Martins closes the distance and clinches up with Knight, looking for a takedown. Martins pushes Knight against the cage but Knight circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Martins. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Martins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Knight had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Martins is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Knight Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Martins's back instead.

I really don't envy Martins right now.

Knight drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Knight jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Knight has hold of Martins's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Martins manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Zack Knight showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Zack Knight comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Knight has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
