These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vidal moves in looking to clinch but Baptista pushes him off.

Baptista wants to get back to striking at distance but Vidal won't allow it.
Baptista tries to break the clinch but Vidal is controlling the position.
Vidal is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vidal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Baptista's waist but Baptista gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vidal off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Vidal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vidal tries to land a front kick but Baptista steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Baptista misses with a few strikes there.

Vidal wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Baptista is cranking Vidal's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Vidal! He's tightened the choke and Vidal is tapping out!
