The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grivois really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rhames. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rhames manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Grivois manages to get himself to full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Grivois can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Clovis Grivois seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Grivois lands a vicious elbow to the side of Rhames's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Grivois tries to finish him with strikes but Rhames still seems able to defend himself so Grivois steps back and lets Rhames get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

It looks like Ving Rhames has been cut.

Rhames gets tackled into the cage by Grivois. Grivois maintains the clinch.
Oh Rhames is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grivois has Rhames pressed against the cage. He pushes Rhames back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Grivois throws a beautiful elbow that sends Rhames crashing to the floor! Grivois piles on the pressure with more strikes! Rhames is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clovis Grivois!
A relieved looking Clovis Grivois thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
