Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Sykov (ranked 1537 p4p, 1921 weight class) and Kamil Marek (ranked 207 p4p, 257 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexei Sykov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kamil Marek!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marek waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sykov.
Sykov closes the distance and clinches up with Marek, looking for a takedown. Sykov pushes Marek against the cage but Marek circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Marek wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sykov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Marek.
Sykov attempts a counter takedown but Marek avoids it well and moves away.

Sykov moves into the clinch.
Sykov jumps guard but Marek stands there with Sykov around his waist. Sykov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sykov definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Marek cracks Sykov with a nice body shot.
Sykov wants to take the fight to the mat but Marek manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexei Sykov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Marek breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Marek scores with a shot to the body.

Sykov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Marek manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Marek has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Marek looking for a triangle here. Sykov is fighting it but it looks tight! Marek pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sykov is tapping out - this one is all over!
