Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tazmanian Devil (ranked 3268 p4p, 4299 weight class) and Toto Diablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tazmanian Devil has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tazmanian Devil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Toto Diablo!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Ben Hemmingworth and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diablo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Devil swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Devil misses with a straight right.
Diablo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Devil feinted with a counter takedown.
Diablo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Devil but Devil pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Devil waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Diablo.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Diablo.
Diablo is looking to clinch.
Diablo connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Devil's hands.
Tazmanian Devil's cut is getting worse.
Devil tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Devil lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Toto Diablo has been cut.
Devil throws a looping overhand right but Diablo ducks down to avoid it.
Devil is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Diablo.
A jab from Devil does it's job there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Diablo wants to clinch
and Devil counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Diablo!

Devil in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Devil's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Diablo is looking to reverse the position.
Devil is staying tight to Diablo's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Diablo is trying to control Devil's posture but Devil avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Diablo prevents Devil from moving into mount.
Devil is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Devil could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Diablo trying to control but Devil flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Diablo is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Diablo wants to escape the position.
Devil just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Devil continues to stall.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Diablo is in bad spot here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Diablo is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Devil.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tazmanian Devil dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Diablo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Tazmanian Devil is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Devil throws a hook to the side of Diablo's head but Diablo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Devil throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Devil misses with a wild body shot.
Diablo wants to counter the offense by Devil and move into the clinch position.
Diablo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Devil throws a body punch but Diablo moves out of range.
Devil looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tazmanian Devil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diablo blocks a head kick by Devil.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Devil scores with a hook.
Devil scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Devil scores with a jab to the jaw.
Diablo slips a jab and a cross from Devil.
Devil connects with the punch.
That has opened up Toto Diablo's cut even more.
Diablo is breathing heavily.

Devil swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Devil throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Devil misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Diablo wants to counter with a clinch but Devil pushes him away.
Devil scores with a punch to the head.
Diablo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Devil looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A left and a right from Devil both land. Nice combination.
The cut above Toto Diablo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Nice takedown defense from Devil. No joy for Diablo on that attempt.
Devil appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Devil takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Devil pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Diablo throws a counter combo.
Devil pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Diablo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Devil sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Diablo somewhat.

Devil scores with a hook to the body. Diablo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Devil misses with a low kick.
Devil tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tazmanian Devil is winning the standup battle so far.
Devil throws a solid leg kick but Diablo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Devil.
Diablo defending well as Devil loads up on a big left hand.
Devil listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Diablo shoots in but no luck this time.
Devil tries to counter with a takedown but Diablo is quick to defend against it.
Tazmanian Devil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toto Diablo.
Devil tries a head kick but it misses.
Devil looks for the body kick but Diablo saw that one coming.
Devil is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Diablo can do to turn this around?
Oooooh!!! Devil has knocked Diablo down with a huge combo! Devil steps away and waves a wobbly Diablo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Diablo is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Toto Diablo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tazmanian Devil!
