Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lasner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Lasner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nate Gonzales!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lasner darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gonzales looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lasner tries to pass to full mount but Gonzales defends it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Gonzales wants to get back to full guard.
Gonzales is not content to let Lasner control the position.

It looks like Nate Gonzales has been cut.

Gonzales sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lasner's guard.
Lasner pushes Gonzales off looking to stand but Gonzales dives back in and keeps control.
Lasner wants to control but Gonzales is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Lasner on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lasner tries to get out of the position.
Gonzales is just content to waste time from the top position. Lasner takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Gonzales has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Lasner is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gonzales has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gonzales!

Well Lasner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
