Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Itchy Sinclair (ranked 524 p4p, 1104 weight class) and Benedicte Swanson (ranked 63 p4p, 143 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Itchy Sinclair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 33 - 5, fighting out of Los Angeles, Benedicte Swanson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson avoids the body shot from Sinclair.
Swanson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sinclair scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Swanson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Sinclair is looking to score with low kicks.

Sinclair closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Swanson quickly recovers to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Swanson is looking to control Sinclair's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Swanson avoid being mounted?
Sinclair is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sinclair stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Swanson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Swanson is pulling down on Sinclair's head. It's preventing any offense from Sinclair, at least for the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Swanson is trying to control the position but Sinclair postures up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Swanson wants to sweep here but Sinclair controlling him for the moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Sinclair misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Swanson.
Swanson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sinclair manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sinclair changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Sinclair throws a shot to the body.
Swanson throws a sloppy head kick and Sinclair moves out of range easily.

Sinclair darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Sinclair in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Swanson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sinclair!
