Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jamil Hurst (ranked 1932 p4p, 2237 weight class) and Guy Le Franc (ranked 258 p4p, 295 weight class). Hurst kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Keep Their Heads Ringin'. Jamil Hurst has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jamil Hurst!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Guy Le Franc!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le Franc walks into a left hand.
The crowd cheers as Le Franc lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hurst doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Jamil Hurst has been cut.

Le Franc fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hurst, pushing him back against the cage.
Hurst is looking to take this one to the mat.

Hurst ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Le Franc moves away.

Hurst postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Le Franc looks a forlorn figure.

Hurst cracks Le Franc with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Le Franc felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Hurst goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Le Franc is on top in guard.

Hurst lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Le Franc at a distance.
Hurst walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hurst looks to land a left hand but Le Franc moved out of range nicely.

Le Franc throws an overhand right that lands on Hurst's shoulder, as Hurst tries to avoid the shot.

Hurst tries to close the distance and clinch up but Le Franc swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Le Franc throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hurst stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oh Hurst is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Le Franc lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
