Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 6348 p4p, 23860 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 65 - 22 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 72 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Fighter A shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fighter B napping and manages to drive through into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Fighter A is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fighter B will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Fighter A seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fighter B for as long as he can get away with.
Fighter A working away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fighter B holds on to Fighter A's head and controls the position momentarily.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Fighter A closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fighter A connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Fighter B some visible discomfort.
Fighter B seems a little lost for a moment, as Fighter A dominates the positioning.
Fighter A tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Fighter B being controlled for a moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fighter A has hold of Fighter B's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Fighter B tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fighter A cranks the arm and Fighter B screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fighter B, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Sss Sss!
