Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arlo Cash (ranked 1590 p4p, 3481 weight class) and Jett Robins (ranked 143 p4p, 276 weight class). Jett Robins will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Arlo Cash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jett Robins!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cash forces Robins back against the cage and clinches.
Cash tries to pull guard but Robins holds him up against the cage and eventually Cash drops back down to his feet.
Robins has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Cash drags the fight down to the ground.

Cash throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Robins gets to his feet. Cash looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Cash fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cash wants to clinch
and Robins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Cash forces Robins back against the cage and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cash gets control of Robins's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cash will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Robins is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Cash is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Robins is aware though and is defending well.
Robins is pushing down on Cash's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cash is fighting to maintain full guard but Robins has managed to sneak the leg through.

Cash is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Robins pulls his head out easily.

Cash looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Robins is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cash looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Robins not doing much here.
Robins is thwarting Cash's attempts to control the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Robins prevents Cash from improving his position.

Cash looking for submissions off his back.
Robins wants to free his trapped foot but Cash is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Robins wants to stand up but Cash has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Cash looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Robins trying to control the action but Cash is working from the bottom.
Robins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cash. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Cash actively working from the bottom here.
Robins prevents Cash from improving his position.
Robins trying to pass the guard but Cash defending well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Cash is looking for a sweep. Robins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Robins tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cash tries to clinch up.
Cash tries to clinch there but Robins circles away.
Robins with a jab.
Cash tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cash tries to clinch there but Robins circles away.

Cash forces Robins back against the cage and clinches.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Cash as Robins tries to tie him up.
Cash fails to pull guard.
Robins tries to circle away but Cash has him pinned against the cage.
Cash jumps guard but Robins stands there with Cash around his waist. Cash gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arlo Cash. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Robins wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cash has him pressed against the cage.
Cash jumps guard but Robins turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Robins working hard to break the clinch.
Cash fails to pull guard.
Cash tries to pull guard but Robins won't allow it.
Robins is trying to break free.
Cash fails to pull the fight into his guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Arlo Cash will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Cash tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Robins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Robins is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Good exchange - Robins coming out on top.
Robins displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Cash is rocked!

Cash clinches up against the cage.
Oh Cash is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Robins can't find room to land a body shot as Cash controls the action.
Cash seems to have got his legs back now.
Robins digs a right hand underneath Cash's ribcage. Cash let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Cash fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Cash jumps guard and drags Robins to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Robins's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Cash looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Robins passes into half guard.

Cash is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Robins pulls his head out easily.
Robins seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Cash looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cash trying to get back to full guard but Robins takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Robins is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Cash uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Robins.
Cash tries to clinch there but Robins circles away.
Robins now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Sloppy strikes from Robins. Those never looked like landing.
Cash wants to clinch but Robins slips to the side
enabling Robins to counter with a crisp jab.
Cash on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Cash moves to clinch but Robins breaks away
and Robins counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
BOOM! Robins lands a beautiful left hook that drops Cash. Cash tries to recover but Robins is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Cash lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jett Robins!
