Coco's entrance music is KORDHELL - MURDER PLOT. A fine choice. Loco Coco has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gordon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gordon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Coco down.

Coco parries the strikes from Gordon easily there. Gordon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Coco to escape.

We've been hearing good reports from Coco's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Gordon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Coco's guard.
