Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bastien Harris (ranked 979 p4p, 1763 weight class) and Rico Rodriguez (ranked 132 p4p, 235 weight class). Rodriguez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Latin Lingo. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bastien Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rico Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rodriguez moves into the clinch successfully.
Rodriguez is trying to pull guard but Harris turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Harris scores with a shot to the side of Rodriguez's head.

Harris breaks the clinch.
Harris avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rodriguez's coach down at Hellfire Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rodriguez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Harris connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rodriguez momentarily.
Harris thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rodriguez drops his hands momentarily and Harris takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Rodriguez tries to close the distance and clinch but Harris swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Harris attempts a counter takedown but Rodriguez avoids it well and moves away.
Harris is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rodriguez.
Harris feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rodriguezs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Rodriguez fails in his attempt to clinch.
Harris lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Harris looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rodriguez tries to clinch there but Harris circles away.
Harris was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Harris circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Rodriguez drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Harris follows Rodriguez to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
