The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rick instigates a clinch.
Pignon is trying to force a seperation but Rick has the dominant position.
Rick lands with a right to the head.

It looks like Tom Pignon has been cut.
Come on Rick - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Pignon is trying to push Rick away but Rick has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Rick throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Pignons head.
Rick is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Rick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Rick closes the distance and pushes Pignon back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Come on Rick - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Pignon gets tackled into the cage by Rick. Rick maintains the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Rick.

Rick breaks the clinch.
Rick circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Pignon drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Rick follows Pignon to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arj Rick!
A relieved looking Arj Rick thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
