Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Bang (ranked 5606 p4p, 4583 weight class) and Da Borg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borg has chosen Robocop - Theme Song as his entrance music. The key to victory for Stan Bang has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stan Bang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Da Borg!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang dips to his left and cracks Borg with an uppercut!
Bang tries a head kick but it misses.
Borg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bang.
Borg is looking for the big counter here.
Bang gets caught flat footed, as Borg shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bang has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Borg off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Borg is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bang throws a sloppy head kick and Borg moves out of range easily.
Borg with the counter takedown but Bang avoids it easily.

and Borg counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Borg has hold of one of Bang's legs. Bang is fighting the takedown attempt but Borg gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Borg content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Borg tries to free his leg and advance position but Bang is retaining full guard.
Bang wants to stand but Borg is controlling the position.
Borg with a flurry of punches that miss.
Borg wants to pass the guard but Bang is keeping the position.
Bang has his feet on Borg's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Bang keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Bang throws a head kick that misses.
Borg on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A head kick misses from Bang.
Bang fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Borg but Borg pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bang has taken the fight to the clinch.
Borg lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bang backwards.
It looks like Stan Bang has been cut.
Borg prevents Bang from breaking the clinch.
Borg has picked Bang up - he's going for a ride! Borg dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Bang gets back to full guard.
Borg trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bang wants to stand but Borg is controlling the position.
Borg landing with the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bang has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Borg is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Borg manages to break the clinch.
Bang connects with an inside leg kick.
Bang misses with a double jab
and Borg counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bang has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Borg off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Stan Bang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Borg looks winded!
Bang shoots in for a double leg but Borg sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stan Bang. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bang bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Borg's head backwards.
Bang gets caught flat footed, as Borg shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bang uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Bang is rocked!
Oh Bang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Borg closes the distance looking for a takedown. Bang stuffs it but Borg still has hold of him. Borg picks Bang up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Borg slams Bang to the floor and that's really hurt Bang - he doesn't know where he is! Borg throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Da Borg!
Da Borg tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
