Ferreira has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mamma drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mamma must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ferreira looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mamma wants to control from the top but Ferreira keeps moving.

Mamma avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Mamma got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ferreira has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mamma has managed to get both his arms back between Ferreira's legs - danger averted.
Ferreira is breathing heavily.
