Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
John darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lascombe has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Lascombe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says John as he avoids it easily.
John scores with a decent looking hook.
John lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lascombe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around John's waist but John gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lascombe off to one side.

Lascombe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with John but John pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sparring John has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ferdinand Lascombe.

Lascombe walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from John! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
