Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Justin Gaethje!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yawa Kiang!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaethje lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Justin Gaethje seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kiang takes one to the side of the head.
Gaethje connects with a single shot there.
Kiang is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gaethje delivers a nice body kick.
Gaethje throws a one two combo.
Kiang takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Gaethje lunges at Kiang with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kiang's hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gaethje uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kiang has time to react.
Kiang moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gaethje turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kiang steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gaethje. That one must have hurt.
Gaethje lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gaethje clobbers Kiang with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Justin Gaethje is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gaethje lands a jab.
Gaethje connects with a single shot there.
Kiang moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Gaethje scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Gaethje stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gaethje has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Master Chai's Dojo in the buildup to the fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gaethje scores with a jab. Kiang acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Gaethje lands a jab to the nose.
Gaethje lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Kiang tries to move into range but Gaethje moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kiang takes one to the side of the head.
Gaethje scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Gaethje is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Gaethje scores with a hook.
Gaethje paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kiang on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gaethje lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gaethje takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Kiang is rocked!
Gaethje plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Kiang is still on wobbly legs! Can Gaethje finish him?
Kiang on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gaethje. Gaethje obviously looking to wear him down.
Kiang with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gaethje to score with a decent uppercut.
Kiang gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Gaethje gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Kiang is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Justin Gaethje!
Justin Gaethje seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
