Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Inspektor Gee (ranked 1614 p4p, 1257 weight class) and Stevo Caruga (ranked 198 p4p, 154 weight class). The key to victory for Inspektor Gee has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 23 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Inspektor Gee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stevo Caruga!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Topper Green and Francis DeMontford.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Caruga.
A quick step to the side and Gee tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gee throws a leg kick but Caruga sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Gee throws a head kick that Caruga semi-blocks.

It looks like Stevo Caruga has been cut.
Caruga fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gee avoids it really well and circles away.
Gee tries to counter by clinching up but Caruga breaks away and moves out of range.
Gee fails in his attempt to clinch.
And Caruga tries to counter it with a takedown but Gee pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Caruga shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Caruga was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gee bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Caruga.
Inspektor Gee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stevo Caruga.
Gee throws a low kick but Caruga avoids it.
Caruga's coach down at The Jungle Room was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Caruga's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Caruga takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Caruga looks for a takedown but Gee sprawls well.

Gee throws a right hand that Caruga ducks under and follows up with a left that Caruga also avoids with ease.

Caruga closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Gee explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Gee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Caruga swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Caruga fails to land the takedown.
Gee seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Caruga takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Gee looks to score with a jab to the body but Caruga is just out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Caruga takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Inspektor Gee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gee moves into the clinch successfully.
Caruga tries to pull guard but Gee won't allow it.
Gee lands an elbow just above Caruga 's eye.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Caruga gets control of Gee's arms and successfully pulls guard. Caruga will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Caruga working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Caruga is tightening it up a little... Gee has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gee reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gee taps out! Nice BJJ there by Caruga!
