Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Edmonds (ranked 1992 p4p, 1840 weight class) and Nils Ragnaar (ranked 264 p4p, 243 weight class). Edmonds's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Frankie Smith - Double Dutch Bus. Ragnaar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mustasch - The Wave kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nils Ragnaar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ragnaar enables Edmonds to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ragnaar manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Edmonds.
