Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas McDonald (ranked 1526 p4p, 1628 weight class) and Manco Capac (ranked 199 p4p, 214 weight class). Capac has chosen Iggy Pop - The Passenger as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald avoids the body shot from Capac.

Capac closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McDonald's guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Capac working his ground and pound in the gym.
Capac uses his free foot to push down on McDonald's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McDonald.
Capac lands a couple of good shots and McDonald has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
McDonald is trying to get back to his feet but Capac has full control of the position and if anything, McDonald has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Well, with Capac on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before McDonald is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McDonald goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

McDonald has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Capac is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
