Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diego Rios (ranked 660 p4p, 613 weight class) and Henry Hall (ranked 92 p4p, 85 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Hall swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Rios throws a series of punches but Hall avoids them all with ease.
Diego Rios seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rios misses with a few strikes there.
Rios looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hall jabs at Rios's body.
Hall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rios manages to avoid it.
Hall takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Rios throws a chopping leg kick but Hall manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hall tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

No joy there for Rios, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rios was well out of range. Poor timing from Hall.

That was a close round but I would say that Diego Rios will probably get the nod.
