The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Hong takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kourov sizes up Hong with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hong throws a looping overhand right but Kourov ducks down to avoid it.
Kourov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kourov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hong feints and as Kourov raises his hands in defense, Hong changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hong is standing up over Kourov. Kourov looks to escape but Hong dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hong has hold of Kourov's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kourov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hong cranks the arm and Kourov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kourov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
