Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Horacio Barbosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuckie Frewin!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Frewin misses.
Barbosa steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Frewin.
A jab lands there for Barbosa.
Frewin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Barbosa lands a really nice looking cross but Frewin seems unphased.
Barbosa throws a good cross that connects.
Frewin misses with a low kick.
Frewin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Barbosa finds it's way round the side to connect with Frewin's head.
Barbosa lands the left hand.
Chuckie Frewin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barbosa connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Barbosa tests Frewin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Frewin slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Horacio Barbosa has been cut.
Frewin misses with a hook
and Barbosa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Frewin throws a leg kick that is checked
and Frewin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Frewin fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Barbosa is out of range.
It looked like Barbosa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Frewin walks into a stiff left hand from Barbosa.

Barbosa connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Frewin onto his butt! Frewin bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

Frewin is rocked!

Barbosa slips under a jab from Frewin.
An attempted straight right counter from Barbosa misses the target.
Barbosa moves out of range of the leg kick from Frewin.
Frewin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Frewin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Barbosa cracks Frewin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Barbosa moves away from the strike by Frewin.
Frewin throws a lazy uppercut
and Barbosa makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Barbosa throws a sloppy head kick and Frewin moves out of range easily.

Frewin throws a jab but it's blocked by Barbosa.
Frewin misses with a straight left.
Barbosa lands an overhand right.
Barbosa darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Frewin is still on wobbly legs! Can Barbosa finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barbosa scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Frewin to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Barbosa away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Frewin got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Frewin misses with a low kick.
Barbosa is looking to counter punch.
Frewin seems to have recovered his senses.
Frewin misses with an uppercut. Barbosa saw that one coming.
Barbosa slips a jab from Frewin.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frewin scores with a jab. Barbosa acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Frewin swings widly with a right hand
letting Barbosa counter with a right hand.

Barbosa scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Frewin beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Frewin misses with a low kick.
Frewin walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

After winning the bout, Horacio Barbosa thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
