The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Hepple tries to buck Marston off but Marston is having none of it.

Hepple has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Marston is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hepple. The referee asks Marston politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Marston prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hepple might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Marston haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hepple can do anything to dispel that myth.
