Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cleber Peralta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prince Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cleber Peralta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Prince Ali!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Peralta takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Cleber Peralta has been cut.
Peralta looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ali is looking for a triangle but Peralta pushes his legs off easily.
Peralta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ali swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ali is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Peralta looking to sit in guard and control but Ali gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ali drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ali jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Peralta working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ali doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ali manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Peralta had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ali is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Peralta Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ali's back instead.

Ali wants to get back to his feet.
Peralta lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ali can't escape the position.
Peralta doesn't have the hooks in and Ali manages to turn into his guard.

Prince Ali is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ali scores with a kick to the body.
Ali connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ali scores with a head kick.
Ali looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Peralta moves out of range of the body kick.
Peralta avoids a kick to the body.
Peralta will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ali throws a push kick but Peralta slaps the foot to one side.
Peralta sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Peralta avoids the head kick by Ali.
Peralta takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Ali throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Peralta on the side of the head.

Thud! ouch! good body kick from Ali - that will leave a mark!

Peralta shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ali throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Ali scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Peralta moves out of range of the body kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ali.

Peralta shoots in but no luck this time.
Ali lands with a straight right. Peralta didn't see that one coming.

Peralta shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ali as he avoids it easily.
Ali feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Peralta's calf.
Ali misses with an attempted mid kick.
Peralta looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ali throws a front kick that sends Peralta stumbling back into the cage.
Ali stuffs the takedown attempt from Peralta. Peralta gets slowly back to his feet.
Ali thumps Peralta with a low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ali tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Peralta avoids the head kick by Ali.
Ali lands a nice looking kick to the body. Peralta takes a step back to recover.
Ali lets loose with a powerful body kick. Peralta will feel that in the morning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prince Ali dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Cleber Peralta's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Peralta will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Ali throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Ali throws a head kick but Peralta moves out of range.
Ali throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Peralta misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Donk. Ali catches Peralta right on the button with a cross.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Peralta closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ali circles away.

Ali buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ali throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Ali feints and then cracks Peralta's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Peralta down.
Ali misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Peralta shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ali as he avoids it easily.

Cleber Peralta is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Peralta really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Peralta closes the distance and clinches up with Ali, looking for a takedown. Peralta pushes Ali against the cage but Ali circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ali keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Peralta takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Peralta takes a kick to the side of the head.
Peralta shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ali's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ali is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Peralta has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ali should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Peralta has tightened it up now! Ali should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
