Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xylon Kofel (ranked 889 p4p, 885 weight class) and Chike Obi (ranked 123 p4p, 122 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Xylon Kofel has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Xylon Kofel seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Xylon Kofel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chike Obi!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obi throws a hook to the side of Kofel's head but Kofel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Obi is looking to clinch.
Kofel slips under a jab.
Kofel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Obi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kofel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kofel slips a straight right by Obi.
Obi lands a head shot.
Obi misses the shot to the body.
Kofel throws a leg kick but Obi moved away.
A left lands for Kofel.
The crowd cheers as Obi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kofel doesn't seem phased though.
Obi lands the left hand.
Kofel tests Obi's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Obi slips under a jab.
Obi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kofel manages to avoid it.
A jab from Kofel misses.
Obi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kofel takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kofel missing with a left hand there. Obi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Obi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kofel moves away.
Obi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Obi throws a poor cross that misses
and Kofel counters with a nice leg kick.
Obi waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kofel.
Kofel scores with a nice head shot.
Obi forces Kofel back against the cage and clinches.
Obi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kofel uses from the top position.
Obi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kofel is aware though and is defending well.
Obi looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Kofel is defending well. Obi quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Kofel has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Obi celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chike Obi!
A very excited looking Chike Obi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
