Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Bleak (ranked 1454 p4p, 2265 weight class) and Jeremy Cross (ranked 176 p4p, 269 weight class). Cross has chosen Folk Metal as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bleak dives in for a single leg takedown but Cross sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Cross scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Cross prevents the takedown attempt.
We've been hearing reports that Bleak has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Bleak prevents Cross from breaking the clinch.
Nice body punch from Bleak - that landed with a thud.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bleak is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Bleak is trying to control. Cross wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Cross is looking to control Bleak's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cross avoid being mounted?

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bleak drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Cross throws a leg kick but Bleak checks it.

Bleak's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cross connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bleak scrambles back to his feet.
Cross is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bleak.
Bleak half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Bleak is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Cross throws a hook to the side of Bleak's head but Bleak sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bleak drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cross manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bleak has Cross in his guard.

Cross controls from within his opponent's guard.

Bleak has his foot on Cross's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cross works his way back into a safe position though.

Bleak has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Cross should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bleak has tightened it up now! Cross should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Bruno Bleak thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Jeremy Cross stepped up to the mic, saying 'BY THE LIGHT OF THE MOON!'.
